Implementation Tips for USAID Partners

I

mplementation Tips for USAID Partners was developed by the New Partners Initiative (NPI) team for organizations managing projects under a Cooperative Agreement. This resource builds on the popular NPI-Connect e-newsletters and also offers strategies to help strengthen an organization's systems and processes.

Implementation Tips for USAID Partners is a series of brief articles. Each responds to specific, frequently-asked questions on navigating USAID rules and regulations and is designed to fill gaps in current compliance and capacity-building resources. The Implementation Tips is arranged in chapters that correspond to the seven organizational development (OD) domains: governance, financial management, human resources, program management, external relations, compliance and monitoring and evaluation.

Implementation Tips for USAID Partners was a cooperative undertaking, drawing on the knowledge and experience of many individuals and organizations, including the FHI 360 Capable New Partners Initiative Technical Assistance team, the CAP communications team, and JSI/NuPITA technical assistance providers and their partner, Initiatives, Inc. All contents were reviewed by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) NPI team.

Funding for the Implementation Tips for USAID Partners was provided by USAID, under CAP NPI managed by FHI 360. Its contents and views do not necessarily reflect the views of either USAID or the U.S. Government
